Refund Policy
30-day money-back guarantee
If CoreGuard Pro (or Family) isn’t right for you, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase — no need to explain why. We’d rather you didn’t pay for something you can’t use.
Before you buy — try it free first
CoreGuard has a 3-day full-feature trial (no card required). When the trial ends, the free features keep working indefinitely (no nag screens, the app never bricks) and the paid features simply require a license. So you can evaluate the paid features before paying, and the free tier remains genuinely useful either way. We recommend trying it before purchasing.
How to request a refund
- Email support@coreguard.app with the email address you used at checkout and your order ID (it’s on the receipt from our merchant of record), or
- Use the refund/contact link on the receipt from Paddle.
Refunds are issued by our merchant of record to your original payment method; how long it takes to appear depends on the merchant of record and your bank (often a few business days).
Downloadable-software note
CoreGuard is delivered as a download. At checkout, before paid delivery, you confirm that you understand you have 30 days from the order completion date to cancel or request a refund. This 30-day guarantee is what we honor; where your local consumer law grants you a longer or non-waivable right (for example EU/UK statutory rights), that applies and is not affected by this policy.
What a refund means for your license
When you’re refunded, your license to use the paid features ends, and we ask you to stop using Pro and remove the key. Because CoreGuard verifies licenses offline on your Mac — there is no account and no server check — an already-issued key is not disabled remotely; honoring a refund is part of the agreement, and a refunded license may be blocked in a future update. Your locally-stored data (history, settings) is untouched either way — CoreGuard never deletes your files.
